As you might have heard, last week President Obama announced Deferred Action for certain qualifying young adults. The Department of Homeland Security is going to stop the unjust deportation of some young adults, and give them temporary relief from the threat of deportation. Many young adults would be able to benefit from the new policy and be able to get work authorization under it.
In the next couple of months, government is supposed to come up with a procedure on what paperwork needs to be filled out. At the moment, they haven't said what forms and what information they need.
